(April 23, 2015)... On Saturday, Paul Dawson proved that his brother, Dan, isn’t the only one in the family who can score goals. Paul scored his third of the season in impressive fashion in Vancouver, and was mobbed as he went back to the bench.
Dawson scooped up a loose ball, went coast-to-coast and buried a bounce shot into the top corner. The goal put him within reach of tying his CAREER high of five, which he set in 2011.
The nine-year pro also displayed his penchant for blocking shots, as the former National Lacrosse League goalie denied the last two Stealth attempts of the game. He also added four loose balls in a 13-9 Rochester win over the Vancouver Stealth.
In the latest Player Spotlight, Dawson talks about his amazing goal, shot blocking and the road to the playoffs.
