AES and DAWSON to Host Pro Lacrosse Experience

(June 4, 2014)…Arrow Express Sports (AES) and Seven-time National Lacrosse League All-Pro and 2014 Championship Game MVP Dan Dawson will hold the inaugural Pro Lacrosse Experience from Thursday, July 3rd to Friday, July 4th. The Pro Lacrosse Experience, which is sponsored by Team 22, is limited to just 34 players at the midget level with Six Nations serving as its home base.

“We are extremely excited to give high-performance lacrosse players the opportunity to attend a two-day pro lacrosse training camp that involves not only bettering yourself on the floor, but educating yourself in the weight room, and (learning) what it’s like training off the floor as a professional athlete,” said Dawson. “This is the program I am most excited about this summer.”

The Pro Lacrosse Experience will include breaking down game film, weight training, studying nutrition and getting reps on the floor. Joining Dawson as instructors are Rochester Knighthawks Assistant Coach Jason Johnson, Knighthawks goalie Matt Vinc, defenseman Paul Dawson, and forward Craig Point.

“These guys are great ambassadors for the sport and that’s very important for what we are trying to do,” said Dan Dawson. “Lacrosse is a very unique sport where the players are very much engaged as far as the fans and local players. We are excited to be growing the business.”

Arrow Express Sports is a sport management company based out of the ILA at Six Nations. AES creates opportunities for youth through lacrosse and strives to promote overall healthy lifestyle choices through its camps, clinics and special projects. The relationship with AES will allow Dawson to bring his camp and his exclusive Pro Lacrosse Experience to the Iroquois Lacrosse Arena.

“Our main goal is to grow the game at the grassroots level, and to give the best instruction to kids that we can,” said 2009 NLL MVP Dan Dawson. “We not only do that by having the best lacrosse players in the world at these camps, but also the best teachers.”

Registration is now open and interested players can register at www.aeslacrosse.com under the Programs header.
